During its ‘Surprise and shine’ iPhone event, Apple announced the official release date for the new iOS 27 and iPadOS 27 updates. In case you’re wondering when you’ll be able to download these updates, it’s all set for next week, or more precisely, on Monday, 14th of September.
Right now, you can take iOS 27 and iPadOS 27 RC for a spin, which is the final version of the update, but meant for developers and public beta testers. In other words, signing up to the public beta will get you access to the update immediately, and you’ll find the complete tutorial for it posted here.
If you consider yourself an enthusiast, it’s perfectly fine to download the new updates today. After all, they are the final updates, just available early to a small group of people. But since you’ve waited this long already, I will recommend waiting a few more days and downloading the final version on the 14th of this month.
