The full and final version of the visionOS 27 update is now available for download on the Vision Pro with M2 and M5 chips.
visionOS 27 Final is Here with UI Improvements, New Siri AI, Apple Intelligence Features, and More, Download it Today
If you visit Apple’s website every day just to see that floating Siri AI orb, then you should be pleased to learn that you can have it today with the visionOS 27 update.
The RC version of the update was released last week, and today, Apple is releasing the same update for everyone around the world with the M2 or M5 Vision Pro headset.
Once the update is installed, you can quickly sing up for Siri AI, which may take a while, but once the process is complete, you get access to a way smarter Siri, as well as a new dedicated Siri app. Apart from that, you also get UI refinements, and an uplift in performance in general.
Ready to have it all? Follow these steps on your Vision Pro:
- Make sure your Vision Pro is connected to an external power source.
- Launch the Settings app.
- Go to General > Software Update.
- When you see the visionOS 27 update, select Download and Install.
Apple says the visionOS 27 update has the following build number: 24M362
The update will definitely take a while to download and install, which is normal because visionOS 27 is a major update for Vision Pro. But once everything is complete and done indexing, performance is going to be snappy. Just do not judge the update on the first couple of days of use. Battery life and performance are going to suck, and that’s normal during this time period.
