You can now download the RC (Release Candidate) versions of iOS 26.6, iPadOS 26.6, macOS 26.6, watchOS 26.6, tvOS 26.6, and visionOS 26.6.
iOS 26.6, watchOS 26.6, macOS 26.6, and More RC Updates Now Available for Developers and Public Beta Testers
I’m sure you’re very excited that Apple released the fourth developer betas of iOS 27, macOS 27, and more. However, in the midst of it all, Apple released the final versions of iOS 26.6, iPadOS 26.6, macOS 26.6, watchOS 26.6, tvOS 26.6, and visionOS 26.6 for developers and public beta testers.
If you currently have the previous beta installed, you can download the RC updates right away without waiting a single minute. Just head over to Settings > General > Software Update on your device and get going.
However, anyone can download the RC, although it does require a little bit of legwork, as it involves signing up to the beta.apple.com website. Once signed up, just enable public beta updates by going to Settings > General > Software Update > Beta Updates.
The moment you do this, your device will receive the RC build of the above updates immediately. But hey, since the RC is available right now, it means it will roll out to everyone next week. So, a little bit of extra wait won’t hurt at all.
The build numbers of the above updates are as follows:
