You Can Now Download and Install macOS 27 Golden Gate Developer Beta 4 on Your Mac with New Fixes and Improvements

Developer beta 3 of macOS 27 has been around for a while, and Apple has seeded the first public beta of the software last week. Today, the world can download macOS 27 beta 4 on the Mac with a bunch of improvements and fixes.

If you’ve been testing out the macOS 27 developer beta, you can download the new update immediately by following these steps:

  • Save all your work and files to a safe location.
  • Make sure you are connected to a fast and stable Wi-Fi network.
  • Launch System Settings.
  • Navigate to General > Software Update.
  • Click on the Update Now button next to the new macOS 27 beta 4.

The fourth beta of macOS 27 has the following build number: 26A5388g

Download will begin immediately, and the full installation may take a while. That’s how macOS updates work, and there’s nothing you can do to speed up the process. However, once everything is complete, you can start using your Mac immediately like nothing ever happened.

Do keep in mind that this update is available for developers only. The public beta of the update should become available for download soon. If we’re lucky, we should see it tomorrow or later this week.

Apple has definitely shipped new changes in the new macOS 27 Golden Gate beta. If there’s anything noteworthy at all, I will talk about it in a fresh blog post.

If you’re looking to download and install the macOS 27 developer beta on your Mac, you’ll find all the instructions posted here.
