You Can Now Pre-order the iPhone Duo

You can now officially pre-order the iPhone Duo from Apple’s website or the Apple Store app on iPhone and iPad.

Apple’s iPhone Duo Officially Goes on Pre-Order, Pricing Starts at $1,999, Available in Two Color Options

Today, Apple’s first-ever foldable iPhone goes up on pre-order. It is available in two colors – Night Sky and Star White – and if you’re planning to purchase it fully unlocked, you’ll find the price break-down below:

• 256GB iPhone Duo – $1,999
• 512GB iPhone Duo – $2,199
• 1TB iPhone Duo – $2,599
• 2TB iPhone Duo – $3,199

With the obvious information out of the way, do keep in mind that the above pricing is subject to taxation, depending on the region and country you’re ordering from. You can expect the price to go up once the tax has been applied.

You can order the iPhone Duo straight from Apple’s website. Alternatively, if you already have an iPhone or iPad, you can use the official Apple Store app to place your pre-order as well.

Since the pre-orders have just gone live, and this is the biggest change to iPhone since 2007, I won’t be surprised if the shipping dates start to slip immediately. I highly recommend being a little vigilant today if you want to get the storage and color option of your choice.

For a lot of people, the 256GB storage option is more than enough, so it’s safe to assume that one will sell out first. Since the 512GB is the next one, all the panic buying might take that down next.

I will not, in any way, recommend the 2TB model, unless you’re planning to keep all your life on your iPhone Duo, and none of it in iCloud. It costs $3,199 for the 2TB memory privilege, which is too much money for a phone, to be quite honest.

Going to wrap things up by saying good luck to everyone. I really hope you get the iPhone Duo you had in mind.
