If you placed your iPhone Duo pre-order on time, then you’re one of the lucky few who will get their new device between October 26 and November 9. But if you blinked, then you will be surprised with a shipping date that extends beyond 8-9 weeks.

I tried different storage and color options, and all models have slipped to late December, including the super-expensive 2TB model, at the time of writing.

I’m sure Apple expected this, and if that’s the case, we’ll know about it in a few days from an Apple official. But honestly, this is not surprising at all, because this is Apple’s first foldable, and fans were going to buy it like crazy.

Update: The iPhone Duo shipping date has slipped to January 22 with buyers reporting February. I’ve never seen anything like this.
