The iPhone Duo will be released in October, but you can have a glimpse of its official retail packaging right now.

iPhone Duo Ships in a New Style of Packaging Since the Design has Changed a Lot

Pretty much all iPhones come in a similar looking box. It’s a rectangle with the image of the iPhone itself, nothing too fancy.

With iPhone Duo, things are going to be different since the aspect ratio of the phone has changed drastically. And like many foldable devices, this will ship in its open form inside the box, making the packaging slightly bigger too.

If you go to Apple’s website and scroll all the way down, you’ll see a section where the company talks about trading in your old iPhone for a new one, and here you can easily spy on the iPhone Duo retail packaging:

The image was quite small therefore I had to crop it out, applied some Pixelmator Super Resolution magic on it to enhance it as much as possible.

Since we are talking about the retail packaging, therefore it’s important to talk about the retail contents as well. Even though you’re spending a minimum of $1,999 on the phone, you get the iPhone Duo and a USB-C cable inside the box, nothing else.

I really hope you have a bunch of USB-C chargers at this point, and if you don’t, then it’s a good idea to drive to your favorite electronics store or order one online. Make sure it’s a 60W or faster USB-C adapter, especially if you plan on taking advantage of the Duo’s fast charging capabilities.
