Developer beta 1 of tvOS 26.2 is now available for download on the Apple TV. If you are a registered developer, you can download it too.
Apple has Released Developer Beta 1 of tvOS 26.2 for Apple TV, Available to Download Today
Apple released the final version of tvOS 26.1 yesterday, and it has already seeded the first beta of tvOS 26.2. If you’re a registered developer with Apple, you can go right ahead and enable developer updates on your Apple TV and install it right away.
It is a very simple process, really. First of all, you have to sign up with Apple as a developer by going to this link. Once that is out of the way, go to Settings > System > Get Beta Updates.
From here, select tvOS 26 Developer Beta, and then you will be able to download the update by going to Settings > System > Software Update > System Update.
The new tvOS 26.2 beta has the following build number: 23K5029e
tvOS receiving new features after a major update (tvOS 26 in this case) is rare. But if Apple has shipped something new here, I will highlight it and let everyone know.
