Apple has Released the First Developer Beta of visionOS 26.2 for Vision Pro – Download it Today
Whether you have the original Vision Pro or the latest one with M5, you can download and install the new visionOS 26.2 beta on it and take it for a spin.
The process is pretty straightforward and it begins with signing up for the Apple Developer Program. It’s free, and Apple doesn’t charge a single penny if you want to test out beta software.
Once you’ve opted in as a developer, just enable developer updates on your Vision Pro by going to Settings > General > Software Update > Beta Updates and select visionOS 26 Developer Beta. Now go back to Software Update and install visionOS 26.2 beta 1 as it shows up.
The new beta update has the following build number: 23N5279e
Do keep in mind that you cannot downgrade back to visionOS 26.1 once you install the new beta, unless you have the Developer Strap, and I’m assuming you don’t.
