You can now download and install visionOS 26.1 beta 1 on your Vision Pro headset if you’re a registered developer with Apple.

Apple Releases visionOS 26.1 Beta 1 for Registered Developers, Available to Download on Vision Pro

While most of us are still enjoying the visionOS 26.0 update and its features, Apple is not wasting any minute working on the next big thing – visionOS 26.1.

Currently available to download for registered developers only, the new update is accessible to anyone and everyone with a Vision Pro headset. All you have to do is sign up for the Apple Developer Program.

Just like the initial visionOS 26.0 beta, you will find the steps to download the new beta posted here. And just like before, you cannot downgrade back to visionOS 26.0 unless you have Apple’s Developer Strap.

Apple says that the new visionOS 26.1 beta 1 has the following build number: 23N5013j

If there’s anything noteworthy in this update, I will highlight in a separate post.

Do keep in mind there is no visionOS 26.1 public beta and likely won’t ever be for the time to come. If someone claims that there is one, just ignore them. Wait on what Apple has to say regarding this first.

At the time of writing, Apple’s Beta Software Program does not say anything about any visionOS 26 public beta. If there’s any change or the slightest update on that end, I will let my readers know about it.
