iOS 27 Does Not Drop Support for Any iPhone Model, But iPadOS 27 Does

Apple has just announced the new iOS 27 and iPadOS 27 software updates, packed with new features, huge performance improvements, as well as the new AI-powered Siri.

But, the update is no good to anyone if it can’t run on their device. If you’re wondering whether or not iOS 27 or iPadOS 27 can run on your iPhone and iPad, you can check out the official compatibility list below, starting with iPhone:

As you can see, the good old iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, and the iPhone SE (2nd-generation) did not lose support with iOS 27. If you have one of these devices, it means you can keep it for another year, and even test out the beta.

On the iPadOS 27 end, a handful of devices have lost support. What this means is, iPadOS users aren’t as lucky as iOS. If your device got kicked off from further support, you can still enjoy the features of iPadOS 26.

Basically, if you were worried that your iPhone is too old for iOS 27, don’t think about it too much. Apple is even improving the performance on older devices to ensure that they keep up with new features.

The full and final version of iOS 27 and iPadOS 27 will become available for download later this year on the same devices that are listed above.
