Apple has just released developer beta 3 of visionOS 26 software for Vision Pro, and you can download it right now.

visionOS 26 Developer Beta 3 is Now Available for Download on Vision Pro with Bug Fixes and Other Changes

The new visionOS 26 update has a ton of cool new features, but the one thing that makes the update absolutely stand out are the new spatial widgets. You can place them anywhere in your personal space, and they’ll stay there, like a wall clock or a painting.

Right now, visionOS 26 is in beta and available for developers only. If you have been testing out the update for a while, and are currently running developer beta 2, then update to beta 3 right away.

Step 1. Launch the Settings app.

Step 2. Go to General.

Step 3. Open Software Update.

Step 4. Download and install visionOS 26 beta 3 from here.

Anyone can go ahead and test out visionOS 26 developer beta, and all you need is an Apple Developer Account, which happens to be free if you are just testing out beta software from Apple.

You will find all the details on it posted here.

Do keep one thing in mind, once you upgrade your Vision Pro to the beta, you cannot downgrade back, unless you are willing to make some extra effort for it. In other words, downgrading is not an easy process and will cost you money, if you want to perform the downgrade at home.

Unless you really have to test out the beta for some reason, go ahead with visionOS 26. Otherwise, just stay put and wait for the final version of the software to arrive later this year.

Another great feature in visionOS 26 is the new and upgraded Personas. Apple has added a lot of detail to the new ones, ensuring you look lifelike to the other person during a FaceTime call or meeting.

The fact that the ones in visionOS 2 are so good, you can only imagine how far Apple has taken things with the new update.
