Head over to Apple’s official Apple Intelligence website right now and you’ll notice that the ‘Available now’ message is no longer there.

NAD Findings Force Apple to Remove or Discontinue its ‘Available Now’ Message on Apple Intelligence Website

Apple did not release Apple Intelligence features until iOS 18.1. Even then the rollout was a partial one and more feature arrived with future OS updates.

Even to this minute, the promised advanced version of Siri is nowhere to be found and officially delayed, but it is said to be coming in a future software update.

Due to these ‘false claims,’ several lawsuits were filed against Apple and it even prompted an inquiry by the National Advertising Division in the United States.

Eventually, the recommendation was made to Apple that it either discontinues the ‘Available now’ claim or change it completely since all features weren’t available. Because the message itself creates confusion among consumers.

Apple complied and has since removed the ‘Available now’ message from its website. The message was removed on the 31st of May, apparently.

Though Apple says that it disagrees with the findings by the NAD, it will still follow their recommendations.

Apple’s entire marketing for iPhone 16 revolved around Apple Intelligence, and yet these phones didn’t ship with any of these features out of the box.

Apple did make it sound as if all AI features are ready for rollout. There’s no doubt in that at all. But a little bit of transparency could have saved the company from this much embarrassment.
