A recent survey shows that consumers actually like Apple Intelligence, earning it ‘stronger-than-expected’ marks.
Consumers Like Apple Intelligence and Find it to be an Important Feature
Apple Intelligence found itself in a lot of trouble ever since Apple announced that the advanced Siri features have been delayed. From lawsuits to forcing the company to change its marketing material, everything makes Apple look bad in the world of AI.
However, a consumer survey was conducted by Morgan Stanley recently, and they questioned 3,300 iPhone users in the United States, and all questions were about Apple Intelligence.
While critics paint a bad picture of Apple’s AI efforts, consumers actually find it important on their iPhones.
There are two important parts of the results. First, one shows that 80% of iPhone users with a compatible device have tried Apple Intelligence, and it is described as easy to use and improves their overall user experience.
42% of those surveyed said that their next iPhone should have Apple Intelligence, while 54% of those who are likely to upgrade in the next 12 months want Apple Intelligence on their iPhone and that it’s extremely important to them.
Now comes the most interesting part of the survey results.
While Apple Intelligence is absolutely free (so far), those who have used it say they are willing to pay up to $9 per month to get access to Apple’s AI features.
Yes, people are willing to pay for Apple Intelligence.
This is definitely great news for Apple and shows that its AI features have worked wonders for a lot of people, and that Apple Intelligence does play a key role when users consider to upgrade their iPhone.
Currently, the cheapest way to get on the Apple Intelligence bandwagon is by getting an iPhone 16e, which costs $599. While not cheap, but it’s a ‘brand new’ way to get onboard the AI hype.
Morgan Stanley sums up the results by saying that Apple’s AI has earned ‘stronger-than-expected’ marks. That’s really something.
