Apple Goes Big by Including Apple TV and Apple Arcade with iCloud+ in More than 100 Countries
If you’re subscribed to iCloud+, Apple’s paid iCloud storage tier, you will be pleased to learn that you can now access Apple TV and Apple Arcade at no additional cost.
Let me say that again: even if you’re subscribed to Apple’s cheapest iCloud+ storage tier, which gives you just 20GB of storage, you get access to all the great content Apple TV has to offer, and more than 200 games on Apple Arcade.
However, this upgrade is only applicable in specific markets for Apple, even though it is more than 100 countries. This list does not include the United States where Apple is still offering its Apple One plan.
Since you can share iCloud+ storage with family members, this means you can give access to Apple TV and Arcade for up to 5 people, giving you excellent value for money the moment you subscribe.
Also keep in mind that Apple is winding down its Apple One bundle in most countries in favor of this new iCloud+ approach. Also, if you currently have iCloud+ as well as a standalone Apple TV or Apple Arcade subscription, Apple will automatically cancel your standalone subscriptions in favor of iCloud+. Users don’t have to take any action at all.
