It’s official – Apple has announced its ‘Surprise and Shine’ event that is set for the 9th of September, to announce the iPhone Fold.
Surprise and Shine – Apple Announces iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone Fold Event for 9th of September at Apple Park
Apple holds an event in September every year to announce a new iPhone, or a bunch of them, given recent times. And, it was expected that Apple would do the same this year.
And it has.
The new Apple event is called ‘Surprise and Shine’ and it is set for the 9th of September, and it will be held in Apple Park starting 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time.
At the event, Apple is expected to announce three new iPhones – the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and the iPhone Fold, or iPhone Ultra, as it’s being called for now. The last one is particularly interesting because it is going to be Apple’s first-ever folding device.
Another interesting thing to note here is that this will be the first Apple event with John Ternus as CEO. We’ve always seen him as part of hardware-related announcements, and now he has mighty shoes to fill as CEO.
