Apple has released watchOS 26.3 final version for the Apple Watch, and you can download it right now over the air.
Apple has Just Released watchOS 26.3 for Apple Watch with Tons of Bug Fixes and Other Improvements, Download it Right Away
With watchOS 26.3 RC available for a week for developers and public beta testers, today everyone else can enjoy the update on their Apple Watch as well.
The update mainly focuses on bug fixes and other improvements. If you’re expecting this update to bring the new Siri to your Apple Watch, I’m afraid you have to wait a little longer.
Let’s have a look at the official changelog of the update first, then I’ll show you how you can download watchOS 26.3 onto your Apple Watch:
This update includes improvements and bug fixes for your Apple Watch.
Download watchOS 26.3 Over-the-Air
- Make sure your iPhone and Apple Watch are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Place your Apple Watch on its charger.
- On your iPhone, launch the Watch app.
- Now go to General > Software Update.
- Let the page refresh and then tap on the Download and Install button when you see watchOS 26.3.
The new watchOS 26.3 update has the following build number: 23S620
The update may take a while to complete, that’s why I usually recommend installing watchOS overnight so that you wake up to a fresh new update the next day. But of course, it’s entirely up to you when and how you want to install the new update.
There’s no method to clean install the update, do keep that in mind. The best you can do is factory reset your Apple Watch after installing the update, or do it the other way around.
I will only recommend a factory reset if you’re facing too many performance issues on your Apple Watch, but if everything feels fine, then don’t bother doing it at all, and just install watchOS 26.3 over the air like everyone else.
