visionOS 2.6 developer beta 3 is now available for download and install if you have Apple’s Vision Pro headset.

visionOS 2.6 Developer Beta 3 Now Available for Download – Install it Today on Your Vision Pro Headset

Wrapping things up in Apple’s barrage of beta updates is developer beta 3 of visionOS 2.6 for Vision Pro.

Just like all the updates released today, this one mainly focuses on fixing bugs and making the Vision Pro as stable as possible.

In order to update your Vision Pro from visionOS developer beta 2 to beta 3, all you have to do is follow these steps:

  • Launch the Settings app.
  • Go to General.
  • Open Software Update.
  • Select Update Now in order to download visionOS 2.6 beta 3 immediately.

I’m sure a lot of people are waiting for visionOS 3 instead, thanks to its amazing new Spatial Widget and improved Personas. But, that update is pretty far away.

If you want to risk it all and test out the visionOS 26 developer beta on your Vision Pro, you do have that option. And remember, once you upgrade, you cannot downgrade back immediately, unless you’re willing to shell out some money.

I will suggest waiting till the end of the year for the final version of VisionOS 26 instead. That feeling of installing a new operating system after a full year is unmatched.
