The 20th anniversary iPhone will push the limits of display technology and won’t have any visible bezel around it.

Apple is Looking to Launch the 20th Anniversary iPhone with No Bezels at All

While our attention is set on the iPhone 17, set for release later this year, things in the iPhone 18 and iPhone 19 camp are starting to look very exciting.

While the iPhone 18 is set to feature an under-display Face ID sensor, several reports have claimed that will be the case, but the 20th anniversary model is going to be extremely special.

According to a report by ETNews, Apple’s 20th anniversary iPhone will have no visible bezels or frame. The company intends to do this by using ‘four-edge bending’ display technology.

What this means is, the display will curve into the body of the iPhone itself, giving the user a seamless visual experience with no bezel or frame in the way. It’s like you’re holding a screen only, nothing else.

Rumors do say that Apple’s 20th anniversary smartphone is going to be a complex one, forcing Apple to stick with China for its manufacturing since it has the necessary technologies.

While this may sound like an easy phone to build, it is definitely going to be a complex one. Because with the bezel gone, Apple has to put the earpiece somewhere, and it will likely be under the display too.

What makes this even more interesting is how the earpiece acts as a loudspeaker on current iPhone models too. So, an earpiece that’s under the display and loud enough to be heard.
