In terms of features, the tvOS 27 update may not inspire much confidence. But it does contain meaningful changes that lift the overall Apple TV experience up.
All set for release later this year, tvOS 27 has a long way to go before it becomes available for download to the public. For now, we have to deal with one beta after the other, with developer beta 5 now available for download.
Those who have been testing developer beta 4 since the past few weeks can download the new update today, while public beta testers should be able to download the new update tomorrow.
In order to download developer beta 5 of tvOS 27 right now, here’s what you have to do on your Apple TV:
- Turn on your Apple TV.
- Launch the Settings app.
- Scroll all the way down and open System.
- Open Software Updates.
- Now select Update Software.
The new tvOS 27 developer beta 5 should become available immediately. Just follow the on-screen prompts in order to install it immediately.
