Apple has Included New Changes and Improvements with iOS 27, iPadOS 27, watchOS 27, and macOS 27 Beta 3
Since it’s the early days of iOS 27 and iPadOS 27 betas, therefore we can expect Apple to keep on changing things until it gets it right ahead of final release later this year.
Beta 3 of iOS 27 and iPadOS 27 were released yesterday, and it includes a handful of changes for iPhone and iPad users. In fact, there are some changes in macOS 27 and watchOS 27 beta 3 updates well, so let’s just start with those.
Siri AI Now Available on Apple Watch
You might have noticed that Siri AI wasn’t available on Apple Watch, but with beta 3 of watchOS 27, Apple has enabled it, and you can ask all your interesting and fun questions right on your wrist.
New Wallpaper in macOS 27
macOS 27 beta 3 includes a couple of new animated wallpapers – Golden Gate Sunset and Golden Gate Night. Both wallpapers are excellent and it feels as though this is going to be the default wallpaper for most going forward.
Customize Siri Voice
A feature which was introduced in beta 2 is now fully working and live in beta 3. You can now customize the Pace and Expressivity of Siri, and even change the voice type.
New Reminders App Icon
Not a big change, but the Reminders app icon has been refined for Liquid Glass, making it look more ‘in place’ on the Home Screen.
Cellular Connectivity Display
When you are connected to a Wi-Fi network, you don’t see what kind of cellular network you’re connected to in the background. With beta 3, you will see which cellular network you’re connected to alongside the Wi-Fi icon.
Apple Cooked with Depth Wallpapers
If you have the depth effect enabled on the Lock Screen wallpaper and start bringing the Lock Screen down, you’ll see the main subject first and then the complete wallpaper.
Apple Intelligence Features in Home
Apple says you need a 2TB iCloud+ subscription in order to use the Apple Intelligence features in the Home app such as event descriptions, and more.
