Apple Podcasts video is coming to the Mac with macOS 27 and Apple TV with tvOS 27. But, you can watch it on your Mac right now anyway.

Apple Podcasts Video is Already Available on the Web, Coming to App with macOS 27 and tvOS 27

As someone who loves listening to podcasts on iPhone and iPad, Apple Podcasts video has been a game-changing addition to how I consume content.

But strangely, video has been missing from the Mac and Apple TV. However, Apple has announced that it is making big strides on that end, and will bring video to the Mac and Apple TV with the macOS 27 and tvOS 27 updates, respectively.

Turns out, you don’t have to wait for the macOS and tvOS updates to arrive in order to start watching video on Apple Podcasts. Just go to the podcasts.apple.com website and start watching right away.

You can access and play all video episodes directly in Safari, and if there’s an episode that is labelled as ‘Explicit,’ you just have to sign in with your Apple Account in order to watch it.

I know what you’re thinking – it’s not the same as the Apple Podcasts app. But if you can’t wait till the end of the year like me, then this is a great way to check out your favorite episodes on the big screen.
