Apple has increased the prices of almost all of its products, including the Mac, iPad, Apple TV, Vision Pro, and HomePod.
The Price Increase No-One Was Looking Forward to is Here – Thankfully, iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods Remains Unaffected
A while ago, CEO Tim Cook made it clear that price hikes are coming to Apple products, and unavoidable. And, a little while ago, the online Apple Store went down as well, with lots of people speculating whether or not Apple is launching a new product.
Turns out, they’re price increases across the board, all thanks to the increasing cost of memory.
For now, the only products whose prices haven’t changed are iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods. These are the most essential products in Apple’s lineup, and I’m glad they remain accessible to everyone still.
But if you’re planning to buy a Mac, or any other product, you’re going to pay a huge sum on top of the price you already know and love. Here is a list of products with before and after starting prices:

Thanks to data centers gobbling up memory, and people running AI slop farms at home, we are seeing price increases across the board. It won’t be long until these price increases hit other products, not just Apple’s.
Once the AI madness has died down, and I’m sure it will take a while, only then these prices may return to normal. Until then, look for alternative sources to grab your Apple gear, such as Amazon, where at the time of writing, is selling Apple products at a heavily discounted price, thanks to Prime Day.
