Using the Image Playground app, you can generate a bunch of interesting images right on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac. However, according to a new report by Bloomberg, Apple is going to take the capabilities of the app to the next level with iOS 27.
Basically, when you are about to set your wallpaper, iOS 27 will ask you if you want to create a brand new one using the Image Playground app. And it is being reported that the new version of Image Playground will be able to produce closer-to-life images, thanks to Apple’s upgraded AI models.
Since this is Image Playground, this means users will be able to create wallpapers using simple word prompts. I’m very confident that users will come up with a lot of cool stuff using the new and upgraded Image Playground app.
Another interesting thing coming to iOS 27 is the ability to create Shortcuts using Apple Intelligence. You just throw in the word prompts describing what you need the Shortcut to do, and AI will create it for you. It’s going to be that simple.
