A new report says that Apple is all set to launch two new ‘Ultra’ products in the coming months: an iPhone and a MacBook.
Apple Working on iPhone Ultra and MacBook Ultra, First Launch Happening Later this Year
The news comes from Macworld, and they say that there are two ‘Ultra’ products in Apple’s roadmap. However, do keep in mind that they are reiterating news that has been floating around for a while, with just one small change.
According to the report, the folding iPhone, that is set to be released later this year, is going to be called the iPhone Ultra. The next Ultra product is going to be the MacBook, complete with an OLED display which will also be a touch screen.
However, the MacBook Ultra is launching in early 2027, instead of later this year. The reason given is the worldwide RAM shortage. This is the small change I was talking about.
If you’ve been holding off from buying any sort of MacBook because your eyes were set on the upcoming big refresh, then you have to wait a little longer.
The iPhone Fold will launch alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, but will become available to purchase after the 18 Pro models with limited availability at launch.
Even though fans have been waiting for a folding iPhone for quite some time now, it will be the price that will ultimately decide how well this device will sell. If it falls within the $1,499 price range, chances are high a lot of buyers will jump onboard to buy one.
