Sign up for Apple’s Developer Program

Backup Everything
Running a beta is a super risky business. Make sure you’ve backed up everything to a safe and secure location before performing the update.
You can either save your files to iCloud Drive if you have plenty of storage, or just drag and drop everything onto an external drive, whichever works best.
