Amazon has announced that it can now drone-deliver Apple products like iPhones, AirTags, and more straight to your home.
If You Live in the Right Place, You Can Have Your Next Apple Product Delivered to You Using a Drone from Amazon
There are a ton of ways to buy an Apple product as quickly as possible. The fastest route is visiting your local Apple retailer and grabbing the product from there.
This can be much faster, right? Definitely.
According to Amazon, if you live in College Station, Texas, or in West Valley, Phoenix, Arizona, you can have a bunch of your favorite Apple products delivered to you via drone, using Amazon’s Prime Air service.
The service is surprisingly quick too. Amazon Prime Air will get you your product under 60 minutes or less to your location.
But of course, there are certain conditions.
Those conditions include that you must have the product dropped off to an open space such as a driveway or your backyard. And the area should be clear from pets, people, cars, bikes, and more.
The only downside of this service is that it is limited to a couple of places, which I mentioned at the start of this blog post. And, there’s a limit to how big the product can be before it’s eligible for delivery.
This means products like iPads, Macs, and anything ‘big’ in general won’t be delivered because the drone Amazon is using has a weight limit too.
But, we are truly living in the future now. From having your Apple products delivered via a ground vehicle to suddenly having your iPhone flown to you by a drone is absolutely wild.
