Today, Apple has released everything in its full and final capacity. If you own an Apple TV, that too received an update today.

HomePod as well? Make sure you update that too.

tvOS 18.5 and software update 18.5 are meant to fix bugs and patch security issues if there were any.

In order to download tvOS 18.5 right now, turn on your Apple TV, go to Settings > System > Software Updates > Update Software.

Follow the on-screen instructions, and the new update will be installed on your Apple TV in no time.

Other than that, the new 18.5 software update for HomePod is also available for download. If you have an iPhone or iPad, you can follow the steps posted here on how to download the latest update.

Software updates install automatically by default, but if you really, really want to make sure you’re running the latest and greatest, then you have to intervene right away.

Do keep in mind that both updates do not include any new features at all. They strictly focus on bug fixes and security updates, nothing else.
