Someone took the time to swap the internals of the Nokia Lumia 1020 with the iPhone SE (2022).

Nokia Lumia 1020 Runs iOS, But it’s Actually an iPhone SE 2022 Inside

I’ve seen too many videos in which people just add a skin on top of Android and pretend it’s running iOS. But, what you’re about to see is completely different.

The Nokia Lumia 1020 shipped with Windows Phone 8 and Maxwell Lu from the Pure YouTube channel decided to do a little tinkering with it.

He basically took everything out of the Lumia and replaced it with an iPhone SE 2022. However, at first glance, it looks exactly like a Lumia. The moment you turn on the display, you start to realize it’s running iOS.

The Touch ID sensor lives at the back of the smartphone and the front facing camera had its position moved to the side because the Lumia 1020 doesn’t have a centered camera.

The end result is a creation that’s worth appreciating because it’s just too much effort, really.

Interestingly, it has a name too. It’s called the ‘LumiPhone 1020 SE.’

The fact that the camera button on the Lumia 1020 body works to snap a photo using the internals of an iPhone says all about the hard work that has gone into making this a reality.
