Today, the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max have finally gone on sale. If you ordered one, and wondering what the video capabilities are like, or what you can expect from it at least, then check out the new music video by ROSÉ called ‘new trick’:
Apple isn’t shying away from the whole thing in any way, and is promoting the music video directly on its YouTube channel. Think of it as an early look in which you get a glimpse of the iPhone responsible for the music video:
The thing that Apple is pointing out here is the new variable aperture camera that allows for natural-looking depth of field. Should you care about it? Well, if you want to start recording without dropping thousands of dollars on a high-end camera, then it’s totally worth it, because your iPhone now does it all, and way more.
This isn’t the first time a music video has been shot on iPhone. Method by Kroi was shot on the iPhone 16 Pro, as well as Big Man, an excellent Short Film.
