Apple Releases macOS 27 Golden Gate Developer Beta 5 with More Improvements for the Mac, Download it Today
Testing beta software is fun, because everyone looks forward to the day when a new update arrives, and with it new changes and improvements.
Those who have been patiently testing developer beta 4 of macOS 27 since the last few weeks can now dip their toes in the fresh waters of beta 5. Since the update is available to download over the air, you can install it immediately by following these steps:
- Save all the work you’re doing on your Mac and then launch System Settings.
- Click on General on the left.
- Now click on Software Update on the right.
- When the new beta shows up, click on the Update Now button.
Today’s update is available for developers only, and those testing the public beta have to wait at least a day in order to get today’s changes and updates on their Mac.
Given how stable macOS 27 Golden Gate beta already is, I will be blown away if Apple has more room for improvement in any capacity at all. Because in terms of stability and performance, macOS 27 operates in a league of its own.
If there is anything new and noteworthy in this developer beta, I will definitely highlight it in a separate blog post. Until then, make sure your Mac is up to date.
