You can now download and install the new macOS 26.4.1 Tahoe update for the Mac, and it includes a handful of bug fixes.
Apple Releases macOS 26.4.1 Tahoe Update with Bug Fixes, Download and Install it Today
Apple released iOS 26.4.1 and iPadOS 26.4.1 updates for the iPhone and iPad yesterday. Both updates include bug fixes, and Apple is doing a similar thing again today, but for the Mac.
The new update, macOS 26.4.1 Tahoe, includes nothing more than bug fixes, and you can download it over the air immediately. All you have to do is go over to System Settings > General > Software Update, and then click on Update Now when you see the latest update.
The update will take a while to download and install, which is completely normal when it comes to macOS updates for the Mac.
Apple says the latest update for the Mac has the following build number: 25E253. Furthermore, if you’re looking to download the restore image of the update for an Apple silicon Mac, just click on this link.
Since this update is tasked with fixing bugs, I will urge everyone to install it immediately. It may take up to half an hour, but you will be left with a Mac which is more stable than before, and that’s exactly what you need today.
