New iOS 26.3 and iPadOS 26.3 Developer Beta 2 Now Available to Download for iPhone and iPad Users

The holidays are over, the new year has arrived, CES 2026 is underway, and Apple has released a new set of betas, including beta 2 of iOS 26.3 and iPadOS 26.3 for iPhone and iPad. What a sort to a year, right?

The first betas of iOS 26.3 and iPadOS 26.3 were released back in December, which means it’s been way too long since Apple released everything at all. Since normal life has resumed, we can expect more of this to happen in the coming weeks.

Assuming you already have the updates running on your iPhone and iPad devices, then go to Settings > General > Software Update in order to download beta 2. If you’re a public beta tester, you can expect the latest build to become available to you soon.

The new iOS and iPadOS betas have the following build number: 23D5103d

And yes, anyone can sign up to the public beta, and you’ll find all the details on it posted here.

Interested in knowing what’s new in beta 2? I’ll do a complete roundup once all details surrounding the update are known, so stay tuned for more information as it arrives.

The first beta included two important changes, which you can read about here. If you don’t want to dive into more words, the first beta introduced new ‘Transfer to Android’ and ‘Notification Forwarding’ features.
