Apple and Formula 1 Announce Exclusive Five-Year Coverage Partnership in the United States Starting Next Year

It’s no secret that Apple is a huge fan of Formula 1. From F1: The Movie to promoting the sport at its WWDC 2025 keynote, a partnership between Apple and Formula 1 makes so much sense at this point.

And Apple has done just that by announcing an exclusive five-year coverage partnership with Formula 1 starting next year in the United States.

With this partnership, fans in the United States will be able to stream all forms of races and other content – including practice, Grands Prix etc. – straight from Apple TV, all for free, during the season.

Apple says this partnership with Formula 1 will boost the sport in the United States and build on the success of F1: The Movie.

The partnership is not just limited to Apple TV. Apple says that it will be bringing Formula 1 content to Apple News, Maps, Music, Fitness+, and Sports apps. That last one is especially important as it works with Live Activities to keep track of races.
