Apple Releases AirPods Public Beta Firmware 8B5014c, Available to Download Now

Last week, Apple released AirPods beta firmware 8B5014c to registered developers. The same version of the software is now being seeded to public beta testers.

Just like the developer-only beta, this one is available for AirPods 4, AirPods Pro 3, and AirPods Pro 2. This also means you get the same set of changes, which includes support for more languages when using the Live Translation feature.

If you’re interested in taking the public beta for a spin on your AirPods 4, AirPods Pro 3, or AirPods Pro 2, you’ll find the details posted here. But do keep in mind that you cannot downgrade AirPods beta firmware.
