Apple is rolling out developer beta 3 of the tvOS 26.1 update for Apple TV as we speak. If you’re testing the beta, download it today.
tvOS 26.1 Beta 3 Now Available for Download on Apple TV with Bug Fixes and Other Improvements
Testing tvOS betas can be fun, especially when there’s Liquid Glass involved for the first time. Now that things have settled down, we can start focusing on minor updates like tvOS 26.1.
Currently, there are a handful of users test driving tvOS 26.1 developer beta 2, and if you’ve been waiting for the third beta to arrive, then you should turn on that Apple TV and get downloading right away.
With the Apple TV turned on, go to Settings, then go to System, then Software Update, then Update Software. Download the newly available update.
According to Apple, the new tvOS 26.1 beta has the following build number: 23J5563d
The most noticeable change in this update is the new Apple TV app logo which is in line with the company’s rebranding of the service.
