iOS 26.1 and iPadOS 26.1 Developer Beta 2 Now Available for Download with Bug Fixes and Other Improvements

It’s been a couple of weeks since Apple seeded the first beta of iOS 26.1 and iPadOS 26.1 for iPhone and iPad. Today, the second developer beta has been released, and you can update to it immediately if you’ve been testing the first one.

Assuming you have the first beta installed, all you have to do is go to Settings > General > Software Update and tap on Update Now. The update will start to download immediately and then install on your device after a while.

According to Apple, the new beta 2 has the following build number: 23B5059e

iOS 26.1 and iPadOS 26.1 is available for public beta testers as well. If you don’t feel like signing up for the developer beta, then you will find all the necessary details posted here.

Do keep in mind that iOS 26.1 and iPadOS 26.1 is not a big update in terms of features for iPhone and iPad devices. It mostly focuses on small changes, and more particularly, new language support for Apple Intelligence.

There is a chance Apple might drop a major feature at the very last minute, but it is definitely not happening today at least.
