The Affinity suite of apps, which includes Photo 2, Publisher 2, and Designer 2, is now available to download for free on iPad.

Affinity Photo 2, Publisher 2, and Designer 2 are some of the best apps on iPad. While they were free to download, they were only available for 7 days to try out, after which you had to pay $18.49.
Now though, these apps are completely free to download and use on iPad. There’s no trial, no money you have to pay, just good old-fashioned free stuff.
However, it seems like these apps aren’t going to stay this way for long, since the company behind them – Serif – has something big planned for the 30th of October.
From what I can gather, a new revamped app, or apps, are coming to iPad, and ahead of that announcement, Photo 2, Publisher 2, and Designer 2 apps have been made free.
On the day of announcement, there’s a chance these apps will disappear completely from the App Store. Even if that happens, you get a handful of days to do some creative things with these suite of apps.
Affinity Photo 2 is a fantastic Photoshop alternative with extremely powerful under-the-hood tools to make your photos stand out. Designer 2, on the other hand, is a vector graphic creation tool, and Publisher 2 is a beautiful page layout designing and publishing app.
I will highly recommend downloading them right now before it’s too late.
