Apple Releases macOS 26.0.1 Tahoe with Bug Fixes for the Mac – Download it Today

The full and final version of macOS 26.0 Tahoe brought a bunch of changes to the Mac. However, if you’re a long-time Apple user, then you know that the 0.1 update is what we all should look out for.

That update brings a lot of bug fixes and improvements to users, and macOS 26.0.1 Tahoe is all about that.

This update provides important bug fixes, security updates, and resolves an issue that prevented some users from upgrading to macOS Tahoe on Mac Studio (M3 Ultra, 2025).

According to Apple, the update focuses on fixing bugs which were part of the 26.0 update released earlier this month. And hopefully, things that were annoying you about the initial release should be fixed today.

More importability, if you have a Mac Studio with the M3 Ultra chip, you should be able to install macOS Tahoe on it without any issue. Apple definitely took a while to fix this one.

The new macOS 26.0.1 update has the following build number: 25A362

In order to download and install the update right now on your Mac, all you have to do is launch System Settings, then go to General > Software Update. Give this page a few seconds, and the macOS 26.0.1 will show right up.
