Apple has Released the tvOS 26 RC Update to Developers and Public Beta Testers – Here’s How Anyone can Download it Today
Developers and public beta testers can download the tvOS 26 RC build right now, and the same build will be available for everyone next week. Needless to say that things have gotten exciting for everyone around the world.
In order to download the RC update now, if you’re a beta tester already, just launch the Settings app on your Apple TV, scroll down and open System, then open Software Updates, then Update Software.
If you’re not a beta tester at all, don’t worry, as you too can download the RC update right now, and all you have to do is sign up for the public beta. And you’ll find all the details on it posted here.
The new RC update has the following build number: 23J352
Since this is the potential final version of the tvOS 26 software, you can expect it to be rock solid when it comes to stability.
But, if you have downloaded a bunch of third-party apps on your Apple TV, they might need updates in order to take full advantage of what tvOS 26 offers.
