iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 for iPhone and iPad just got their official release date from Apple, and they’re set for download next week.
iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 Release Date Now Official – Will be Available to Download on 15th of September
Apple has announced that iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 will be available for download on all compatible iPhone and iPad devices next Monday, which is the 15th of September.
Currently, the updates are available to developers and public beta testers as the Release Candidate. The very same update will be released for everyone next week.
In fact, anyone can go ahead and download the Release Candidate build. Just sign up for the public beta on your iPhone or iPad, and the update will show right up for download.
However, while this may sound strange, I will still recommend waiting for next week before downloading anything. You’ve waited this long already, it won’t hurt to hold back a tad bit more.
