Apple has opened the floodgates once again and has released tvOS 26 public beta 5 for the Apple TV. Download it now.
Apple Releases tvOS 26 Public Beta 5 for Apple TV as the Final Version Nears
tvOS 26 public beta 5 is the same build as tvOS 26 developer beta 8. It has the same changes and improvements; therefore, it is recommended that you go ahead and install the update right away.
In order to do that, just launch the Settings app on your Apple TV, then go to System, then open Software Updates, and then open Update Software.
This is likely the last public beta update tvOS 26 will ever get. However, this doesn’t mean you can no longer download the public beta. You’ll find all the details on it posted here.
