You now download and install developer beta 3 of macOS 15.6 Sequoia on your Mac right now, over-the-air.

Apple has Released macOS 15.6 Beta 3 for the Mac, Download and Install it Today with Bug Fixes

Everyone was holding their breath for macOS 26 Tahoe public beta, but Apple gave us macOS 15.6 Sequoia developer beta 3. Sure, it’s not the same thing, but it will have to do until the real deal comes out later.

If you have been testing the second beta for quite a while, today’s the day you update your Mac to the latest macOS 15.6 Sequoia beta 3. It’s available over the air, and it takes a couple of clicks to initiate the download.

  • Launch System Settings.
  • Click on General on the left.
  • Now click on Software Update on the right.
  • Let the page refresh, and when macOS 15.6 beta 3 shows up, click on Update Now next to it.

Your Mac will restart in order to complete the installation, which means you should save all your important work right away so that you don’t lose anything.

Just like iOS 18.6 and iPadOS 18.6, the new macOS 15.6 update does not add any new feature to the Mac and works to enhance the overall stability of your computer.

The update is also available for public beta testers, and if you’re interested in testing the update out, then you will find all the details posted here.
