The iPhone 17 Pro Max battery capacity has been leaked online, and it’s set to be the biggest battery in any iPhone to date.
Leaked Information Says the iPhone 17 Pro Max Battery Capacity will be Around 5,000mAh, a Huge Increase Over Previous Models
Apple’s iPhone 17 Pro Max is set to be a very thick phone with a ton of firepower underneath. That’s a good thing, because a thicker phone means a bigger battery.
According to leaked information shared by Instant Digital on Weibo, the iPhone 17 Pro Max battery capacity has been revealed, and it’s definitely a big one.
The leaker shared battery capacities of Pro Max models going all the way back to iPhone 11. And, in that list, the iPhone 17 Pro Max is said to have battery capacity of around 5,000mAh.
Just to give you an idea of how much of an increase that is, the current iPhone 16 Pro Max has a 4,676mAh battery. And, if you go all the way back to the iPhone 11 Pro Max, it had a 3,969mAh battery, therefore a big increase is coming to the iPhone 17 Pro Max.
While this news is great, we are still far away from the launch of the iPhone 17 lineup; therefore, take this information with a grain of salt. I’m sure more information will be shared in the coming days that will either corroborate or debunk today’s report.
Assuming this report is true, you can expect a huge gain in battery life on the iPhone 17 Pro Max, unless Apple is planning to pack a battery-draining feature in the phone itself.
Another thing that can help with battery life is Apple’s custom modem, but so far, it hasn’t been rumored to be a part of the iPhone 17 Pro Max, but it may come to the iPhone 17 Air. And, the entire iPhone lineup is rumored to use Apple’s custom Wi-Fi chip as well.
