Apple’s new F1: The Movie trailer uses the iPhone Taptic Engine to let you ‘feel’ what’s happening in the car and on track.
Apple Sets a New Standard with the New F1: The Movie Trailer Featuring Taptic Engine Feedback for Immersive Feel
I guarantee you’ve never seen anything like this. Just launch the TV app on your iPhone, go to the TV+ section, find the F1: The Movie Taptic trailer and watch it.
As long as you have an iPhone running iOS 18.4 or above, you’ll be able to experience the phenomenal Taptic Engine feedback that goes along with the trailer.
While the movie is set to be in theaters on June 27, Apple has set a new bar with this trailer. When you experience it on iPhone, you really don’t want to watch any other trailer without the Taptic Engine involved.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the entire movie itself also features Taptic feedback too. Notice I refuse to say ‘haptic feedback’? It’s intentional.
It’s like the motor sitting inside your iPhone was built for this sort of immersion, and it’s finally happened.
