Today I’m going to show you how you can download and install watchOS 11.5 RC on your Apple Watch right now.

watchOS 11.5 RC is Here with the New Pride Watch Face, Anyone Can Download it Now

The RC version of watchOS 11.5 is now available for download. This new update is packed with bug fixes while it also adds a new Pride watch face to Apple Watch.

If you have been testing out the watchOS 11.5 beta for a while, then you can download the RC version by simply going to Watch > General > Software Update on your iPhone. Tap on Update Now when the update becomes available.

If you’re willing to do a little bit of legwork, then you too can install the RC version, which is basically the final update available for developers and public beta testers a little earlier.

In order to do that, follow these steps:

Step 1. Launch Safari and go to: beta.apple.com

Step 2. Sign into the website using the same account you’re using on your iPhone and Apple Watch.

Step 3. Once signed in, launch the Watch app on your iPhone and go to General > Software Update > Beta Updates.

Step 4. Select watchOS 11 Public Beta from here.

Step 5. Tap on the Back button at the top left and you’ll see the watchOS 11.5 RC update immediately. Tap on Update Now to begin downloading it.

Given that the final version will likely be released in a week, I will not recommend playing around with software that is not meant to be for everyone just yet.

The thing is, if something goes wrong, you can’t downgrade to a stable version of watchOS 11.

If bugs are found, Apple will release a second release candidate and then the final version that will hopefully be super stable.
