Apple has Released Beta 3 of macOS 15.5 Sequoia for Download for the Mac

It’s Monday, which means Apple has released a bunch of beta updates for testing. This means macOS 15.5 Sequoia beta 3 is available for download right now.

At the time of writing, only the developer beta is available for the Mac, the public beta should be available soon.

In order to download beta 3 over the air, here’s what you have to do:

  • Launch System Settings.
  • Click on General on the left.
  • Now click on Software Update on the right.
  • Wait for the page to refresh and then click on Update Now when beta 3 shows up.

Mac updates always take a while to install, whether it’s beta or the full version, so grab a coffee or your favorite beverage while everything is in progress.

Once the installation is complete, you can start using your Mac normally. There is a chance your computer might feel slow for a few hours as the update ‘settles in.’

Once the indexing is complete, everything will start to feel lightning fast.

macOS 15.5 doesn’t bring any new features to the Mac. It solely focuses on bug fixes and other improvements.
