Apple Releases watchOS 27.0.1 for the Latest Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4 with Fix for Random Restart Bug
Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4 users have noticed that their device may restart randomly for no apparent reason. Apple knew this was an issue and has released the new watchOS 27.0.1 update.
This update is available for the above mentioned models only, and in order to download it on your Apple Watch, all you have to do is follow these steps:
- Place your Apple Watch on its magnetic charger.
- Make sure you have 50% or more battery remaining.
- Make sure your iPhone and Apple Watch are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Launch the Watch app on your iPhone.
- Now go to General > Software Update.
- When you see the watchOS 27.0.1 update, tap on the Download and Install button underneath.
You will not see this update on other Apple Watch models running watchOS 27.0, which basically means you don’t have to worry about it at all. But do keep in mind that Apple is going to release the new watchOS 27.2 soon, and it is currently in beta for developers and public beta testers.
