Apple is going to announce a new MacBook powered by the A18 Pro chip. A document suggests that it may be called MacBook Neo.

Leak from Apple’s Website Suggests Apple’s Budget MacBook Might be Called ‘MacBook Neo’

Apple has announced a ton of new products in just two days, and the new A18 Pro-powered MacBook isn’t one of them, so far.

It is believed that this notebook will likely be announced tomorrow, and leaked information originating from Apple’s own website, spotted by MacRumors, suggests that it may be called ‘MacBook Neo.’

Apart from the name, Apple hasn’t accidentally anything. In fact, the reference to the MacBook Neo name has been completely removed, at the time of writing this.

Now, either that ‘Neo’ name is completely real or just a placeholder. Either way, it’s nice to see a new name pop into Apple’s product line, making everyone excited that similar ‘Neo’ branded products in other lineups may be released as well.

Who knows that Apple might start calling the base iPad model ‘iPad Neo’ as well. Sounds fun already, doesn’t it?

This new MacBook is not meant to be feature-packed at all. Instead, Apple is hoping to eat the Windows PC market that is dominated by low price laptops. This can only happen if this notebook has a certain amount of appeal in a very special way.

Maybe a bunch of funky colors would do the trick.
