visionOS 26.1 beta 2 is now available for download on the Vision Pro, but the update is available for registered developers only.
Apple Releases visionOS 26.1 for Vision Pro with More Bug Fixes, Download it Today
It’s always a fun day whenever Apple releases a barrage of new software updates for its devices. Today, the new visionOS 26.1 beta 2 update is available for download, and those running beta 1 should install it immediately.
In order to download the new update, just launch Settings on your Vision Pro, then go to General > Software Update. Select Update Now and installation will begin immediately.
Apple says the new visionOS 26.1 beta 2 has the following build number: 23N5028e
Please do keep in mind that visionOS 26.1 is not available for download as a public beta. Make sure you do not fall for any scam and mistakenly download a profile that promises to install the public beta update on your device.
Also, do know that you cannot downgrade back to the publicly available firmware once you install visionOS 26.1 beta. Basically it’s a gray area, unless you’re wiling to pay Apple some money for the Developer Strap.
